Dallas, Texas/LAX-San Diego, California: Saturday November 9, 2013
Last thoughts on Dallas:
- Learn to drive safely: 2697 deaths on the road in Texas so far this year is outrageous. Maybe if you used indicators and didn't drive like f*ckwits, that might help!
- Dallas Fort Worth Airport: 'bout time to go on a diet.....you're too big!!
- Get more of the local population to walk around in cowboy boots and ten gallon hats. One sighting in the car park of Chillies is just not enough!!
- The sweeties, sugars and honeys just make me laugh.
The last part of the trip has snuck up kinda fast, kinda slow....and it's off to San Diego we go....
And hello SmelL-A. I couldn't believe the poor quality of the air. It was just disgusting and really had an impact on the quality of light. After picking up the car, we headed out of there as quickly as possible! Along the way, we got to see that famous LA monument: the Big Nipples....
The Dynamic Trio split up for a couple of nights with the Annowsky-Wilsons staying in one place and me at another....my room at the Best Western Inn By The Sea has ocean views....that's the ocean between the palm trees and the buildings....
Dinner tonite continued the Man vs. Food trend: tonight Lucha Libre. HUGE burritos and lots of great salsas as sides to choose to go with complimentary corn chips. The spinach and garlic (we think) was a winner!! Sadly no photos of the food.....I forgot....so here's what we looked like eating....
